William Cope Moyers Speaks on Sobriety and Recovery

William Cope Moyers, author of Broken, shared his story of addiction and recovery with those in attendance at the Mayan Theatre on May 9th. It was a moving evening that brought about a further understanding of what goes on in the mind of an addict, and the need to make more people understand the promise of recovery.

After dinner at SoHo, Mr. Moyers joined board members, staff and clients on the front porch before his presentation.


Wende and Gini greeted guests at the Mayan Theatre.


Mr. Moyers told his story, answered questions from the audience, and signed his book.
