Welcome
For over 40 years, Sobriety House has provided quality services to economically disadvantaged men and women who are living unproductive, unhealthy lifestyles due to the disease of alcoholism and/or drug addiction. Sobriety House guides adults to chemical and alcohol abstinence and teaches them to maintain that condition throughout the rest of their lives.
Sobriety House serves homeless and low-income chemically dependent men and women. Clients tend to be late stage addicts and alcoholics who are plagued with many problems in addition to their chemical dependency. Most clients are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless. Two thirds of our clients are unemployed upon admission. Many struggle with domestic violence, sexual abuse issues, mental health, medical, psychiatric, and dental problems.
In the Denver metro area, Sobriety House is the only program of its type offering the array of services it does to low income or homeless individuals. It is one of only three transitional residential programs licensed and funded by the State of Colorado in this region.
